Do I need to book in advance?
For the tasting menu, yes, always. We keep a handful of a la carte tables available for walk-ins, but we cannot guarantee availability, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings. The safest approach is to book online at least three days ahead. For weekend brunch, we strongly recommend a reservation.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes, and we ask that you let us know at least 24 hours before your reservation so the kitchen can prepare properly. We handle vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and most allergies without reducing the quality of the meal. What we cannot do is accommodate restrictions we hear about for the first time when you sit down.
How long does the tasting menu take?
Plan for two and a half hours, sometimes a little more if the conversation is good. We do not rush the table. If you have a hard finish time, tell us when you book and we will work around it.
Is there parking nearby?
There is a paid car park on Rua Wisard, about a four-minute walk from the restaurant. Vila Madalena is also well served by Uber and the metro, with the Vila Madalena station about 12 minutes on foot. We do not have valet parking.
